We’re coming down from a sensitive New Moon in Cancer that took place on June 28th. Our emotions are raw and our need for connection to inner Home is intense. Cancer rules the Mother, our Roots, the ability to Nurture, and what makes us feel protected & stable. As July begins, it starts off tersely. A trio of intense transits takes place on July 2nd: Mars Square Pluto, Mercury Square Neptune, and Mercury Trine Saturn. Our action is aggressive, our words are powerful, & our mental prowess clings to a thread of logic ability but lays in a thick fog. Power struggles can manifest in physical fights and ruthless attitudes. The weekend is best spent disconnected, filled with daydreaming, & celebrating our inner child with the Moon in Leo, if we can. On July 5th, the energy shifts as Mars, the planet of passion, enters steady Taurus, making us more determined than ever to achieve our goals. However, it also makes us more stubborn over the next 6 weeks - moving towards our desires at a slow pace as we play the long game. At the same time, Mercury enters Cancer and our thoughts & communication take on a deeper meaning. For the next 2 weeks sensitivity heightens & everything becomes a little more personal. Feelings are easily hurt when emotions rule over our thoughts, but remember ; the greatest weapon against anxiety & stress is our ability to choose one thought over another.
