Pisces New Moon - Venus in Aries

“Water. Powerful enough to drown you, soft enough to cleanse you, and deep enough to save you.” Welcome, Pisces Season. Sitting at the end of the zodiac and the astrological year is Pisces, collecting all the lessons and experiences of the other eleven signs before it. Pisces doesn’t have the shell of Cancer’s crab or the stinger of Scorpio’s misunderstood scorpion; the fish is exposed, living a life without boundaries, open to empathy, destruction, and the range of human emotional in between. On February 19th the Sun detaches for awhile, pulling out the electric Aquarian plug and letting the dimly lit haze settle in. We’re transitioning from Winter to Spring and we’re more compassionate over the next four weeks. Historically, Pisces has two rulers: Neptune, per modern astrology, and Jupiter, per traditional astrology. Ruled by Neptune, planet of higher, or altered consciousness, and Jupiter, planet of expansion, Pisces can ride the invisible channels like a wave. The 19th is a daydreamers haven as we have the New Moon in Pisces on the same day Venus enters Aries. We’re being lead headfirst by our intuition. The energy of Pisces, like the ocean, helps quiet the noise around us, giving way to our inner knowledge. The days surrounding the 19th we receive a pile-up of planets in Venus (Sun, Moon, Venus & Neptune) creating the perfect atmosphere for manifesting, as well as heightening intuition. Expect the bright light of clarity to hit not only during waking hours, but through dreams as well. This New Moon is Pisces final sweet spot until 2026, as March 7th, Saturn, the planet of restriction, moves into Pisces, demanding order for the ethers. Bend reality before the opportunity ebbs.
