Similar to Aries’ speed, Mercury is a fast paced Planet who rules Communication — while Taurus displays a more consistent, safe tempo. Public displays, passionate conversations, and speaking up have been highlighted the past month, but now it’s time to regroup. Taurus is a sign that’s very connected to the material world, so there’s an added emphasis on what’s Real during Mercury in Taurus. Mercury in Taurus directs us to focus on what will bring us the most tangible results. Taurus is a very present sign that isn’t often distracted, so during this transit we have the heightened ability to solidify plans, gain support, & make major forward progress. But, just as Venus in Gemini captivates us, we are called upon to be brave by the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries (the 2nd New Moon in Aries in a row). A Solar Eclipse represents a matter that comes to you from the objective, outside world. Eclipses can seem scary because we collectively lack trust in ourselves.
